Well, we are about 3 weeks away from the start of the first leg of the on AIR Tour in Europe. Most of the details are taken care of, and aside from a couple of tweaks, the agendas are looking good. We have been really blown away by how quick the registrations have been filling up, and we are getting close to selling out a couple of the venues.

Due to some logistics issues, we are having to postpone the on AIR Tour event for Dublin. We don’t have a new date for the event, but will be working closely with the local user group in Dublin. The website schedule has been updated, and we are no longer taking registrations for Dublin
This is really unfortunate, as registration for the first leg has been very high (much higher than we expected at this point), and we are getting close to selling out London and Paris (with Amsterdam and Madrid not that far behind). Ill make another post shortly with an update on registration.
I am currently working on updating the “Adobe AIR for JavaScript Developers Pocketguide” (O’Reilly), and was looking for resources on deploying AIR applications via express install. If you are not familiar with it, express install allows you to deploy your application via a badge on your website. Not only will it install your application, but it will also install Adobe AIR if it is not on its user’s system.
Anyways, here are a couple of really good resources if you want to read and learn more about express install:

You can grab different resolutions of the wallpapers from the tour’s google code project. I have also uploaded all of the original PSDs which you can download from here. (If you mash them up, or create new wallpapers, make sure to post a link in the comments).

We have just updated the on AIR tour site, with some new sessions from a couple of the engineers from the Adobe AIR Team. Ethan Malasky, Oliver Goldman and Chris Brichford will be joining the tour and speaking about using HTML and JavaScript within AIR applications, as well how to build secure AIR applications. Of course, they will also be hanging around all day and chatting and answering questions.
eBoy has posted an image of the Adobe AIR 1.0 Launch poster which they created for Adobe.
eBoy also designed the launch tshirt which you can find here.
I think these are the coolest pieces of schwag that we have ever done, and it was really cool getting to work with a group as talented (and cool) as eBoy.
So, how do you get a shirt or poster? Well, they are limited edition, so it is not going to be easy. You can either attend one of the Adobe user group launch events or grab one at FITC Amsterdam (where we are giving them away). Other than that, the only way to get them is to attend one of the free on AIR Tour events in Europe, where we will be giving a couple away at each stop.
