Well, we are finally in Madrid, and are ready for the first event of the on AIR European tour. I was just over at the venue where they are still setting everything up, and wanted to post some quick information for anyone coming to the event tomorrow.
The event is at:
Moma 56 / 31 March C/ José Abascal, 56 28003-Madrid
You can view a map here.
Doors open at 9:15 AM, with the keynote starting at 10 AM.

Well, the European leg of the on AIR tour starts next week in Madrid. We are really excited to be on the road for the events again, and meet with all of the developers interested in Adobe AIR. Anyways, just as on the first leg of the tour, you can keep up with everything going on with the tour in a couple of ways.
Here is a list of the tour feeds:

As we posted a couple of weeks ago, we had to postpone the Dublin event. This was a hard decision to make, especially because registration on the first leg has been so high, but circumstances conspired against us. However, the guys from the Scotch on the Rocks conference have gotten together with the Dublin Adobe User group, and are putting on a half day event on Flex and Adobe AIR in Dublin.
I just posted this on the on AIR tour blog, and wanted to make a quick note here, but the 360 Flex conference is heading to Milan, Italy. I actually attended the first 360 Flex conference, and it is definitely worth it if you are at all interested in Flex development.
I won’t be able to make the event in Milan this year, but the speaker list is pretty amazing. Check out the website for a complete list, as well as session and registration information.

360 Flex, the premiere Flex focused conference, is heading to Milan, Italy. If you are either interested in, or already doing Flex development (browser and / or desktop), and are in Europe, then you need to attend this conference.
Whether you are just getting started, or are a seasoned pro, this is an excellent opportunity to expand your Flex development skills, as well as meet with other developers and speakers. The conference is a full three days, so even if you are not in Italy, it is definitely worth making the trip.

Well, first it was sold out, and then it wasn’t, but this time is for real. After expanding the capacity for the Paris event, it has once again filled up. So, once again, the entire first leg of the on AIR Tour in Europe is sold out.
If you missed the first 5 cities, you still have a chance to get to the tour on its second leg. You can find a complete list of cities on the schedule page.

As I posted yesterday, the entire first leg of the tour has sold out. However, we have decided to expand the capacity for the Paris event, and re-open registration. We are looking into expanding the other events, but it doesn’t look like we will be able to at this point.
So, if you want to attend the free on AIR Tour in Paris event, make sure to sign up today. There is a good chance that it will quickly sell out / fill up again.

I just found out that the entire first leg of the on AIR Tour in Europe is sold out! We will not be accepting any more reservations for Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels and London. If you are in Europe, and still want to go to one of the free all day events, you still have a chance to catch it on the second leg in Stockholm, Berlin, Warsaw, Prague, Munich or Milan (although those events are starting to fill up also).
We have just released a PDF of a new reference guide that we have put together (with the help of frog design). This title is the Adobe technology platform ActionScript reference for RIA development, and it provides a complete ActionScript 3 API listing for Flash Player, Adobe AIR and Flex 3.
Download Adobe technology platform ActionScript reference for RIA development PDF
They are similar to the ActionScript 3 API posters, but intended to be a little more usable and portable.
Just a quick reminder, but I will be heading across the Atlantic in a couple of weeks for the first leg of the European on AIR Tour. The event is free and I will be doing a session showing how to build your first AIR application with Flex.
As I just posted on the tour weblog, registration has been going well (London leads the way), with a couple of the cities getting close to selling out.
