Ryan Stewart has a good write up of the Apollo eBay client that eBay has been working on.
You can read the entire article here.
Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I have been traveling a lot (Korea Max, and now in Europe), as well as focusing on an internal Apollo release. I wanted to make up for the lack of posts though by giving everyone an update on what is going on with Apollo.
As I mentioned above, we just had another internal Apollo release. This release, named M2, is our third internal release and includes a number of new features including:
Sorry for the lack of updates lately, but I have been traveling quite a bit. I am currently in Europe making stops in Paris, Rome, Brussels and Brighton.
I will be speaking about Apollo at all stops, so if you are in the area, make sure to stop by the meetings. Here are the dates and links:
December 1 : Rome : Italian User Group Meeting (Day full of sessions)
December 2 : Brussels : Belgium User Group Meeting
Hot on the heels of the Russian translation of the Apollo FAQ, Leonardo Franco emails me to let me know that he has translated the Apollo FAQ into Portuguese. Sweet!
You can view the translated FAQ here.
Michael Klishin has translated the Apollo FAQ into Russian.
This is an unofficial translation (since I cant read Russian to check it), but from a quick glance, it looks spot on.
Anyone know of any other translations of the official Apollo FAQ?
Just a quick fyi, but I will be checking out the sessions at the Web 2.0 conference all day. We have a machine setup with Apollo at the Adobe booth, so if you want to check it out, or ask any questions, make sure to stop by (if you are lucky, we may still have some Apollo t-shirts and stickers to hand out).
More info here.
In case you are curious, here is a list of all the blog posts that link to the Apollo Section on the labs wiki:

Good way to see what people (especially outside of the Adobe community) are saying about Apollo.
(Thanks to Ryan who forwarded the link to me)
Twitter has an ActionScript 3 API. Cool stuff.
Update : Looks like they have uploaded an old, pre-release version of the API, so this does not currently compile. I’m trying to get some more info on what is going on.
I have posted a video recording on the Leveraging HTML and JavaScript in Apollo session from last weeks Adobe Max developer conference. This session is given by Chris Brichford, the engineer on the Apollo team doing the actual HTML integration, and goes into some detail on how HTML / JavaScript will be implemented within Apollo.
The session focuses a lot of HTML via Flash (since that is what we have implemented right now), but of course you will be able to build applications for Apollo entirely of HTML and JavaScript.
Just a quick reminder, but I will be giving a free online seminar tomorrow on Apollo. I will be answering questions at the end.
