Nice slides! I especially like the “I love the Timeline” logo. (Slick) So what’s this AS3 Migration handbook on the last slide? I am curious to see what tips you’ve got there. I think it’s cool that you are taking the time to step back and help those convert into AS3.
Through my AS2 to AS3 series on my blog, I have realized that it is really the small things that are stopping most from taking that leap into AS3.

The Timeline Is Not Evil!…
There seems to be this misconception that adding ActionScript in the Timeline will not be supported when using AS3. FALSE!!! If you are migrating over from AS2 to AS3, adding ActionScript in the Timeline is probably the least of your concerns.

Now keep going, compare how easy it is to create custom events in as2 vs as3, and then how easy it is to delete a movieClip in as2 vs as3 (having to be aware of all of that: http://www.gskinner.com/blog/archives/2006/06/as3_resource_ma.html)
