@jensa -> Initially Shaders were made for GPU, but I guess the flash engineers quite didn't make it as there were cross compatibility issues. We should expect full GPU support by Flash 11. May be even full openGL support, we never know. The Gaming Industry is massive. Combined with the ubiquitousness of flash, flash could bring the internet at a whole new level.

ApplicationDomain.domainMemory? After reading the description on LiveDocs, I'm still not sure what it's useful for...

Do you have an idea/example?

@noj FYI shaders != GPU in Flash Player

GPU acceleration is only available in the IDE's such as After Effects. Pixel Bender runs in a separate thread though so on multi-core machines you'll see performance enhancements.

the graphics API is really cool. I amazed at how simple it is to write shaders, at GPU Level.

This will give a whole new look to 3D in flash.

You guys weren't kidding about the new text engine being 'low level', that's a lot of API to go through... nice!

@Tek

--
I hope you find a way to automatize the whole process and that you don’t have to write it by hand
--

Yeah, I can automate part of it from a big XML file (that is what you see above). However, as has been pointed out, there are some errors, so I have to parse another file, and then manually compare and update the two.

It is not fun.... But I think it will be useful.

The new properties and methods related to the NetStream object are missing (farID, farNonce, nearNonce, peerStreams, ...) : http://help.adobe.com/en_US/AS3LCR/Flash_10.0/flash/net/NetStream.html

NetStreamPlayOptions : http://help.adobe.com/en_US/AS3LCR/Flash_10.0/flash/net/NetStreamPlayOptions.html

NetStreamInfo : http://help.adobe.com/en_US/AS3LCR/Flash_10.0/flash/net/NetStreamInfo.html

This list is a good idea, a raw format is a little hard to read but could easily be parsed. I hope you find a way to automatize the whole process and that you don't have to write it by hand. ;)
