>Do you have any info about timeframes for supporting Flash Player 10 features in the AIR runtime?

The next version of AIR (1.5) will have support for Flash Player 10 features. It will be out this fall.

You can find more info here:

Hi Mike, thanks for the links, I love the new bones tool! Do you have any info about timeframes for supporting Flash Player 10 features in the AIR runtime? I am doing a proof-of-concept for an app that uses a few 3D effects and currently they run too slow :(

I could sell the upcoming hardware accelerated 3D rendering of FP10 if only the app in question wasn't a desktop app -- this is the first time I've been disappointed to be working in AIR!

I'm sure the team at Adobe are working as fast as possible -- but I need something more concrete than "ASAP" for my higher-ups :-)

Thanks heaps!

I was wondering if there have been any JSFL API changes/additions. I am most curious about the ability to link symbols to component defintions and live preview swfs in CS4 (since its not supported in CS3).
