Video overview of new features in Flash CS4
Lee Brimelow has put together a video demonstrating some of the new features of Flash CS4. My favorites thus far include the new UI, inverse kinematics (really cool when applied to shapes), new animation tools and features, and Flex created SWCs working in CS4.
You can view the entire video here.
You can find more information on Flash CS4 here.

I was wondering if there have been any JSFL API changes/additions. I am most curious about the ability to link symbols to component defintions and live preview swfs in CS4 (since its not supported in CS3).

Hi Mike, thanks for the links, I love the new bones tool! Do you have any info about timeframes for supporting Flash Player 10 features in the AIR runtime? I am doing a proof-of-concept for an app that uses a few 3D effects and currently they run too slow :(
I could sell the upcoming hardware accelerated 3D rendering of FP10 if only the app in question wasn’t a desktop app — this is the first time I’ve been disappointed to be working in AIR!
I’m sure the team at Adobe are working as fast as possible — but I need something more concrete than “ASAP” for my higher-ups :-)
Thanks heaps!

The next version of AIR (1.5) will have support for Flash Player 10 features. It will be out this fall.
