Which Adobe AIR apps are you using?
Adobe AIR has been out for a couple of months now, and we are really seeing a lot of good apps being released. So, which AIR apps do you find yourself using the most?
For me, I use the following daily:
- TweetDeck Has added a TON of value to twitter for me (especially their summize integration)
- Pandora No more accidentally closing a browser tab and losing my music
- Adobe Desktop Directory (internal Adobe directory app)
So, which AIR apps do you find yourself using the most?

Largely, I use Twhirl. I use it more than any other AIR app currently. I like the Pandora app but it needs to be more of a UI and less of a web page nested in an AIR app.

I just tried tweetdeck and it seemed a little buggy, maybe ill give it another go in a few weeks. Until then, Twhirl is something I use everyday! - http://www.twhirl.org/

What issues were you running into with TweetDeck? Ive found it to be really solid, especially for a beta.

Twhirl religiously, and an RSS reader that I’ve built as an internal company tool.
I didn’t realize there was a GMail app, I’ll have to give that a test-drive.

Cutting down recently.
All I use at the moment is Twhirl… I don’t even use half the stuff I make!
However, I’m taking a look at TweetDeck right now and it does look much better than Twhirl. Very Adobe-y.

I have checked out allot of AIR based twitter clients and they don’t really seem to match my requirements. So I’m currently working a new twitter client, which will be really hot ;)
I do love Kuler for some design and color inspiration also Analytics Reporting Suite is great :)

Kuler - because it’s neet.
I tried out a few AIR twitter clients.. but the resource footprint seems to be much higher than any of my native apps (twitteriffic). I might use AIR more if I used Windows.
I’ll have to check out Pandora, it’s one of my favs for iPhone

I personally use Pandora and Twhirl. Time killers, but invaluable for code-a-thons. I have used Google Analytics Desktop, and now that you mention TweetDeck I will have to take a look at it.

Klok is by far my most used AIR app. I have slowly been converting my office over to using it regularly to track our time spent on projects.
I also use Analytics Reporting Suite, and Kuler.
Going to have to check out PixelPerfect now though, looks like something I would totally utilize.

with these comments, keep in mind that I am using the Linux Alpha…
often:
* the kuler app - very slick. lack of transparency isn’t as bad with kuler because it is a black interface.
sometimes:
* twirl - the lack of transparency in the alpha makes this hard to use for me (can’t stand the way it looks) earlier versions lack of keeping track of what I looked at pushed me to twitterfox.
* tweekdeek - i don’t follow enuf people to really make this app useful for me.
never:
adobe media player - doesn’t work in the alpha :(
soon to be used:
thinking of building a air app for BackPack (backpackit.com)

We use the Kuler webapp but the AIR app doesn’t add much value when what you want is to create your own color schemes;

Twirl - I haven’t tried anything else yet but I like it
Analytics Reporting Suite - it should be called Analytics Reporting Sweet, cheesy but true
Finetune Desktop - A little buggy from the services but I like it. I don’t have to worry about accidentally closing it in my browser tab.

- Google Analytics Suite has to many usability issues for me. I want to love it, but I’ve never been able to install an update w/o having to redo all of my profiles. If they’re all connected to one Google Analytics account, why do I even have to enter each one? Why, when I click on a ‘profile’ do I then have to click on ‘Go to Dashboard?’ I should rarely have to ‘Manage Profiles,’ so having to choose each time is tiresome.
- ShrinkO’Matic image resizer. I use it occasionally, but I’ve got a few people in my life who need a _simple_ way to resize their images and then find them. That’s all this does.
- eBay–only when I’m following something. Terrific!
wants:
- nytimes crossword puzzle
- time tracker: project, tasks, with reports
- remember the milk

1# Athropod. By far the best AS3 Debugging logger out to date
2# twhirl is really nice though I am kinda put off by the hole miro blogging thing. But for AIR apts this is really clean and useful.
3# A home made webcam security apt I made for my self.

For Twitter I use Twhirl, it’s simple and looks fine…

I used twhirl until I discovered tweetdeck - awesome app, and it runs on Linux as well.
One of the great features is the ability to run a public feed based on keywords (Search).
Also using kuler and sqlliteadmin at times, and looking for a good time keeping app for planning & billing purposes

Twhirl and an application I wrote. Am coding on Windows XP using free SDK - in HTML and Javascript and CSS.
Wondering about a number of things:
1) How you plan on keeping up with webkit changes.
2) When Linux will be a “first class citizen”. (Have an ASUS EEE PC running Linux to test on.)
3) When SDK will work on Linux.
But I *LIKE* AIR as something I can code for. Particularly as it reuses HTML / Javascript / CSS skills.
