Adobe AIR in Dr Dobb’s Journal

Dr Dobb’s Journal has posted an article on Adobe AIR in this months (November 2007) issue. It is written by Oliver Goldman, who is one of the primary engineers on the AIR team, and provides a good overview of what AIR is, and the problems that it tries to solve.

  1. WOW! That was dirty on the part of “Dr Dobb’s Journal” and Microsoft. When you click the link to the AIR article, a HUGE silverlight Ad comes up on the next page and it sits there for a while before you can see the AIR article. I just confirmed this with a few friends who surfed it too independently.
