Ok, answered my own question above by editing resources.xml ... but just as a note, I do receive a Runtime Error when looking at MXNA 2 in the Resource Manager ... Line:2 Error:Expected ';'

Thanks.

This is very cool. Really handy that searches are saveable too, for when someone finally posts about a component I'm interested in or a term like 'video'. And that I don't need to have a whole section of RSS feeds for Flash in my reader -- MXNA is a MetaFeedReader.

Feature request: Could you add the source blog's name to the rss feeds?

When clicking a "Generate RSS" button, Safari may generate an alarming "XML parsing error". Just ignore it and drag the URL to your RSS reader. At first I though MXNA was being slashdotted, but the clue was that it displayed fine in Firefox.

Hey Mike,

How would I go about updating the MXNA link within Flash Resource Manager? ... not just the start page link.

Thanks.

"I've tried from several different machines and all seem to get a javascript error on line 18 something about setFocus on the form."

Thanks, Jared. Try again -- it's fixed now.

"I'd like to see the name of the blog/poster a little more prominent. It's up their in importance to the title of the post, at least for me."

Agreed. This is on the list of changes. Expect to see this fixed in the next few days.

"And the 'next page' navigation is a little ambiguous, because you don't know how many pages there are. In the 'old' mxna, you could see that there were, say, 4 pages worth of posts, and if you were on page 3, you knew you had time to check out one more page and get back to work."

I'll have to give this some thought. Actually, in MXNA 2.0, there are pretty much an unlimited number of pages. If you had the time and inclination, you could page back through more than two years of posts (thousands of pages). The old version was actually misleading. It only showed 4 pages worth or data as an optimization technique that is not longer necessary with 2.0. But as I said, I'll give this some thought.

Thanks for the feedback!

Very cool. I've recently started using a stand-alone aggregator, but the jury is out. I might come back to mxna. A couple of comments on the beta: I'd like to see the name of the blog/poster a little more prominent. It's up their in importance to the title of the post, at least for me. And the "next page" navigation is a little ambiguous, because you don't know how many pages there are. In the "old" mxna, you could see that there were, say, 4 pages worth of posts, and if you were on page 3, you knew you had time to check out one more page and get back to work.

I encourage you to release the source code as it would be a great learning tool for somebody like me looking to learn more about news aggregators.

>Any plans to make the source code public?

It is something that we have been discussing, but I dont have a definitive answer for you right now.
