Flash Development with PrimalScript
Community MX has posted an article on integrating the PrimalScript editor with Macromedia Flash. It includes a video tutorial on how to set up my FlashCommand command line compiler to compile directly from PrimalScript.
You can read the entire article here.

Primal Script is indeed one of the best AS editor, but 179$ is too much for just a text writer, even with plenty of reatures.

At first I felt the same way about the price. I was so used to using free editors or paying less than $30 for one that I didn’t feel the price was worth it. After using it for a few weeks I realized it saved me so much time that it would pay for itself quickly. I guess it all depends on what you want in an editor (I strongly believe editors are a very personal thing). The combination of speed/primalsense/snippets all translate to a product that paid for itself quickly…

You’re completely right. In fact i already bought TextPad, Komodo, Quanta and other editors which are nice for me and my work (and i think Komodo is much better than many others, for only 29$)
But anyway I think that the price of Primal is too high even if it could be the best *text* editor ;)

I use PrimalScript and I’ve also used all the editors you’ve mentioned. PrimalScript is expensive however the issue is the amount of time you save and time = $. So it is definitely worth it. I can’t imagine my Flash programming life without it.
