If the flash_content page contains a frameset, and an .swf in the top frame calls two other pages to open in the middle frame and the main frame, they all open in new windows. Why is that?

I know flash will do this if the frames don’t exist, but they do, they are named properly and linked right. Without the FDK, the code works well and opens normally. It’s only when using the FDK that this occurs.

Is this blog the right spot to post this problem? If not, where should I post? Thank you!

ah hahahah. silly me. i need to look- does it detect player versions? ie. .79 before another version?

It fails, because inside the flash_detection_as.fla file it says (perhaps prophetically):

//The required player version necessary to view the content.
contentVersion = 7;

Change that to “6″ and yer off…

the as-only version fails in safari and ie on macosx. not sure why – but i’m running .79 in both and it tells me i need an upgrade. i should look @ the fla.
